Sylvaria of Brockton March 26, 2006 Rosemarie (Saba) Sylvaria 74 years. Devoted wife of Arthur F. Sylvaria, Jr. Loving mother of Kim Jones and her husband Jim of Midlothian, VA and Karen Sylvaria of Hanson. Grandmother of James and Ryan Jones. Daughter of Rose (Arcy) Saba of Brockton and the late Bolus Saba. Sister of Eleanor Samia and Dorothy Saba both of Brockton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9 am. The Service of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church 343 N. Main St., Brockton at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 with the Incense Service at 4 pm. Donations in Rosemarie’s name may be made to St. Theresa Church.
Obituary
Mrs. Sylvaria died Sunday morning at the Mass General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brockton a daughter of Rose (Arcy) Saba of Brockton and the late Bolus Saba and remained a lifelong resident of the city. Following her graduation from Brockton High School she began a long career in banking. While her daughters were young she stayed at home but resumed her career when they entered school. She had been a teller for many years at Home Federal Savings in Brockton and also Brockton Savings Bank.
Mrs. Sylvaria was an avid Patriots fan. She also enjoyed vacationing with her family and time spent with her grandchildren. She had been a long time communicant of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 41 years Arthur F. Sylvaria, Jr. Two daughters Kim Jones and her husband Jim of Midlothian, VA and Karen Sylvaria of Hanson. Two grandsons James and Ryan Jones and two sisters Eleanor Samia and Dorothy Saba both of Brockton and the late Albert, Phillip and Raymond Saba.
She also leaves many nieces and nephews
