Margaret Ann Beliveau
Ventura - Margaret Ann Beliveau, 88, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021 in Ventura, Ca. Margaret was born November 20,1932 to Josephine and Albert Boe in Long Beach, Ca. She attended St. Mary's school for girls in Phoenix, Arizona State College and Columbia University in NY. Margaret was a devout Catholic and social activist. She joined the convent for a short period, but motherhood was her calling. She met and married Eugene Beliveau, LtCol USAF. They traveled the world and raised 7 children before moving to Ventura. She enjoyed working 25 years as a teacher's aide for El Camino High School in Ventura. In her later years she was blessed with her grandfather - Leonardo Garcia's legacy which she willingly gifted to her children. With this blessing, several charitable foundations were established on her behalf. Margaret is survived by her 5 sons, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her devotion to her children, to her many friends, to the Catholic church, and to her charitable causes for the poor.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Monday May 10, 2021 from 4 to 8pm in the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Henderson Road, Ventura. Interment will be private. Donations in her honor can be made to Food for the Poor.
