Patricia Lee Armelin, 88 years young, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021 in her home in Ojai, California. Patricia was born in Kansas and moved with her family in 1939 to Los Angeles where she went to Manuel Arts High School and met her first husband, Warren Hubbell (D. 4-2017) After many years living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Patricia, along with her second husband, James Armelin (D. 9-2007), traveled the world together and eventually settled again in the community of Saddlebrook, in the Oro Valley north of Tuscon, Arizona. Patricia loved to play tennis, have gatherings at her home, and she especially love giving her time to the Golden Goose, a large charity thrift store in Catalina, Arizona near her home.
Charity work was in her blood and after moving to Ojai in 2016 to be near her family full time, she gladly gave her time to the Help of Ojai by working in their thrift store downtown. She made friends everywhere she went and the senior community of the Ojai Villa Mobile Home Park became her second family.
Patricia was the matriarch of a family that loved her dearly and is survived by her Australian brother Don and sister in-law Alice, her two sons Stan and Scott, her two daughters in law Wendy and Deanne, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the Help of Ojai organization for their amazing food program and they encourage donations to support their many other programs that tirelessly serve the Ojai community.
