Annunziata (Gentile) Forcucci, of Medford, passed away on Thursday, April 15th. She was 92. Born and raised in Prezza L’Aquila, Italy. She was the cherished daughter of the late Sabatino and Maria (Spacone) Gentile.
Annunziata was blessed with a green thumb. Her garden was meticulous kept especially when it came to her beans. They had to be in a straight line, with the right amount of spacing and exact number of seeds per row. When Annunziata was not in her beloved garden, she was with her daughter Filomena and son in law Driss in the kitchen cooking and jarring her homemade sauce.
Annunziata was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Forcucci. She was the devoted mother of Filomena Rhoufiry and her husband Driss. She was the dear sister of Mario, Elena, John, Ezio and the late Panfilo Gentile.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Thursday, April 22nd at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. All attending must wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing protocols. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
