Spencer – Jamie J. Ross, 50, of Spencer died on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Harrington Memorial Healthcare at Southbridge after being unexpectedly stricken ill.
Jamie is survived by his wife and partner for more than 34 years, Eleanor A. (King) Ross; a son, Marcus King of Cherry Valley; a daughter, Hope Ross of Spencer; a brother, Joel Thibeault of Pepperell; nieces and nephews and many close friends including Dave Rose and Michael LeBlanc.
Mr. Ross was born in Worcester, son of Robert J. and Susan (Vanasse) Ross and is predeceased by a sister, Michelle McKinstry. He graduated from David Prouty High School and worked in the construction industry for many years and most recently worked for the R.H. White Company of Auburn.
He loved to spend time outdoors and could often be found fishing, canoeing or even hiking but he was the happiest when he was working on motorcycles and trucks. He was proud to be part of the “Black Sheep Motors” Motorcycle Club.
Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
In honor of Jamie’s love for animals, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter 111 Young Road East Brookfield, MA 01515.
