Waltraud Kane, 79, of Easton MA. Passed away peacefully at the Village at Waterman Lake, RI on April 9th 2021.
She was born in Dusseldorf, Germany to the late Emil and Maria Langen. Waltraud came over from Germany when she was 18, met and three years later married the late Thomas M. Kane, the love of her life for 56 wonderful years.
Waltraud was a beloved member of her community and active member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved to exercise and enjoyed playing tennis, bicycling in Cape Cod and spending time with her family and friends.
Waltraud is survived by two children: David Kane and wife Tracy Kane of Ocean View, Delaware and Steven Kane and his wife Addy of Lincoln RI. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Matthew and Jordan Kane and her sister, Marlies Ehlen and her husband, Heinz of Pawtucket, RI
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday May 1st. Visitation 1:00pm-2:00 pm memorial service begins at 2:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 143 Lincoln St. North Easton MA. 02356
