Worcester: Faye K. Gallagher, 78, died on Monday, April 12, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center. The daughter of Frederick A. Gallagher and Ruth M. (Eilertsen) Gallagher, she leaves her beloved sister Diane Gallagher and cousins Clifford Eilertsen, (Christine Wiggin) of Chatham, Kirsten Eilertsen of Seattle, Claudia Chartrand of Orleans, Anathea Chartrand-Simpkins of New York; Sandra Knight and Danielle Knight both of Holden; Patricia (and Dennis) Bourassa of Newbury NH; Jeremy Bourassa of Sunapee, NH; Henry Knight (Jennifer ) of Dudley; and Gaia Knight of Princeton.
Faye graduated from Commerce High School and worked at the Worcester Credit Bureau and at Worcester City Hospital in the business office from 1961-1991.
She enjoyed vacation time on the Cape and Maine, her travels to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Canada, the Southwestern U.S., and the Grand Canyon.
She was a gentle and loving person with a good and kind heart and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
There are no calling hours and funeral services will be private.
