Obituary

Marie Juliette “Judy” Boisvert, age 103, of Laurel Court, Smithfield, passed away on
Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Briarcliff Manor in Johnston. She was the wife of the
late Harvey H. Boisvert, to whom she was married for 53 years.

Born in Saint-Damase, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Real and Agathe
(Belanger) Boisvert. She came to the United States in 1926 and settled in Woonsocket, RI. After she married Harvey they lived in Providence before moving to Warwick for 42 years and then to Smithfield.

Judy worked at Paramount Cards in Providence and was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts in Warwick. In late life she watched daily Mass on her TV and prayed her Rosary every afternoon. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. She watched PGA tournaments only if her favorite golfer, Tiger Woods, was playing.

She leaves her beloved sons, Paul H. Boisvert and his wife, Sandra K. (Bennett), of Hope Valley and Robert N. Boisvert and his fiancée, Valerie Giblin, with whom she lived. Her grandchildren: Jeremy Boisvert and his fiancée, Deborah Guertin; Andrew Boisvert and his wife, Emily; Bradford Boisvert and his wife, Leah; Kerri Fisher and her husband, James; Lauren Boisvert, and Morgan Boisvert. Her step grandchild: Tiffany Blackwood and her husband, Justin. Her great grandchildren Seth, Sophia, and Lucas Boisvert; Kassandra, Dylan, and Savanna Fisher. Her step-great grandchildren: Justin Guertin and his wife, Felicia Scott; Marissa LaBella and her husband, Christopher: Timothy, Avery, and Mackenna Blackwood. Her step-great-great grandson, Greyson LaBella. She was the sister of the late Laurette Durand, Joseph Saucier, Marie Pelletier, Jean Saucier, Raoul Saucier, Roger Saucier and Therese Saucier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be limited seating. Social distancing and face masks are required. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI, 02828.
