Adriana M. (Medeiros) Shaw, 66, of Westport, passed away at home on Friday, April 9, 2021 following a lengthy battle with Machado-Joseph Disease. She was the wife of William B. Shaw, Sr., they shared 36 years of marriage.
Mrs. Shaw was born in Flores, Azores, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Medeiros and had resided in Westport for over 35 years. She had worked for many years as a furniture sales person for the former Rezendes Furniture, New Bedford and Cardis Furniture, Swansea. She was a selfless person who would always go out of her way to help someone in need. Mrs. Shaw enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors along with her husband include her children: Lori A. Corea and her fiancé George Tavares of Westport and William B. Shaw, Jr. and his fiancée Amanda Tripp of Westport; a brother: Luciano Medeiros of Cape Cod; a sister: Fernanda Pinto of FL; 4 grandchildren: William III, Blake, Brock and Aaron; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Dennis, Fernando, Tina, Isabel and Walter.
