William K “Billy” Piehl, 69, passed away suddenly at his family home on April 10, 2021. Billy leaves behind 9 brothers and sisters and their spouses; Lois(Arnold) Lavallee, Richard (Karen) Piehl, Judith (Bruce) Joy, Patricia (Paul) Lamoureux, Roberta (Kenneth) Zacek, Rebecca (Scott) Gale, Margaret (David) Goudreau, Cynthia (Stephen) Zinkowski,and Harold Piehl, Jr. and his fiancé Pam Maynard, two sisters-in-law; Virginia Piehl and Eidlene Piehl.
Billy’s parents, Harold and Margaret Piehl, two brothers, Robert and David Piehl, and one sister Nancy Hallquest predeceased him.
In addition Billy leaves many, many, many nieces and nephews. Among are two God children-Robert Lavallee and Carrie DeSanto.
Family was very important to Billy. Billy had no children of his own but enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with all his nieces and nephews.
Billy had a wonderful sense of humor, a very keen awareness of the day’s events and kept everyone around him in great humor.
Billy graduated from Charlton High School in 1970 and worked many construction jobs in his many years of employment.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5-7pm at the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd. in Charlton.
