Obituary

Nancy Jean Caruso, February 23, 1951 – April 7, 2021 of Dedham and formerly of Milford, MA. With a saddened heart, we share the news of the sudden passing of Nancy. Beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose Caruso. She was the loving sister of John Caruso and his wife Valerie of Boynton Beach, FL and Joyce Caruso and her wife Ashley Tyler of Methuen, MA. Aunt to Matthew Caruso and his wife Emily and their boys Soren and Declan of NJ, Adam Caruso and his wife Roxanne of VA, and Alexander of FL.

We remember Nancy as a very kindhearted generous and most fun-loving person.

Like her Dad before her, Nancy devoted a life’s career to the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital, helping disabled Vets. Over the years, Nancy volunteered, organized and supported countless hours for Veterans’ Rallies, Stand Downs, meal distribution, clothing donations, and sheltering for homeless Vets. Without hesitation, Nancy was first at all these events, rain or shine.

Above all, her greatest pride and joy was with her nephews, their wives and grandnephews. Her nephew’s friends called her “Auntie Nancy” #1 Patriots fan.

Everybody loved Nancy and she loved them. She was a lovely lady, a glorious aunt and a most wonderful sister.

A prayer for God’s Blessing to Rest Nancy Jean’s soul in eternal Peace and let Perpetual Light shine upon her.

Arrangements at this time are undecided. A memorial service celebrating Nancy’s life will likely be held at a future date.

Memorial donations may be made to Fisher House Boston, P.O. Box 230, South Walpole, MA 02071. The Fisher House provides housing for injured veterans and their families.
