Moccia, Philip. Age 64, a lifelong Charlestown, MA resident passed away suddenly on Sunday April 4, 2021 in Burlington, Massachusetts. He was born in 1956 in Boston, MA. Phil was an expert mechanic, car enthusiast, and an overall jack of all trades. He loved martial arts and old movies and was an avid dog lover who loved telling jokes. He was the son of the late Eugene A. and Kathryn T. Moccia. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Paul W. Moccia, husband of Kathleen Moccia of Dracut. He is survived by his sister Mary Bonaventura and her husband Aldo of Medford, his brothers Salvatore (Skip) Moccia and his wife Sue of FL, Gerard (Jerry) Moccia of Wakefield, Dennis Moccia and his partner Patricia Walsh of Norwood, Richard (Butch) Moccia and his wife Libby of Tewksbury, and John Moccia and his wife Michele of VT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no services at this time. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a memorial donation to the American Heart Association in Phil’s name. A celebration of Phil’s life will be held later in the year.
