George Thomas Perry, III, age 69, of Medford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 7th. He was the son of the late Edith (Danizio) and George T. Perry Jr. of Medford. George was the devoted father of George T. Perry, IV of Malden and Alison Perry of Wilmington, and the cherished brother of Roberta (Perry) O'Brien of Beverly. He was the former husband of the late Diane (McEachern) Maguire of Chelsea and Julie (Schleer) Perry of Medford. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and grand-dog Logan.
George spent his career as a Surveyor for Massport. Following his retirement he enjoyed watching sports, fishing, playing Poker, traveling and spending time with his family. George’s family wishes to thank Dr. Elizabeth Collins of Lahey Clinic, Burlington for her kindness, compassion and friendship.
A Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 11th at 2 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 11 through 2 PM. Social Distancing protocols will be observed throughout the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in George’s name to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, online at www.vnaofme.com.
