FALL RIVER – Barbara Ann (Tavares) Stone, age 76, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late John A. Tavares and the late Alice (Arruda) Tavares.
Barbara was predeceased by her son: Robert Medeiros, her granddaughter: Tasha Medeiros, and her sister: Judith Moniz. Survivors include her two daughters: Marsha Merkt and Bertha Aguiar both of Fall River; five grandchildren: Stasia Rapoza, Larissa Souza, Kristin Souza, Tanya Aguiar, and Chad Aguiar; five great-grandchildren: Landon, Macey, Aubrey, Hayden, and Lilliana; nieces & nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
