Mrs. Rita Yvonne (Guilmette) Plourde, 100, of Methuen passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Born in Lawrence on January 29, 1921, Mrs. Plourde had been an area resident all her life. She was retired from Western Electric where she worked many years as an assembler. Mrs. Plourde was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Methuen, she enjoyed being a member of the Western Electric bowling league, dancing, and loved to spend time with her family. The widow of Louis G. Plourde she was also pre-deceased by her daughter Alice Rosene. Mrs Plourde is survived by two daughters: Elaine Belsamo of Methuen, and Pauline Verville of Methuen. There are 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
