Obituary

Radzelovage (Shuler), Sheri Lynn
One day, Sheri’s sons Jack William and Nathan Scott built a rickety jump for their bikes. Discovering their set-up, Daredevil Sheri told them to back up so she could show them how it was done. She went over the handlebars and broke some ribs. Creating unique memories for her kids was one of many art-forms for Sheri.

After a courageous, nearly five-year battle with lung cancer, Sheri Lynn Radzelovage (Shuler), daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, joined her Lord before sunrise on March 31, 2021, at the forever-young age of 56.

Survived by the greatest joys of her life, her children, Rebekah Hubbard (husband Matthew), Jack, Nathan (fiancée Autumn), Sarah, and Adam; and recent arrival, grandson William Hubbard; her adored parents Dr. Jack and Nardos Shuler; brother Dr. Scott Shuler (wife Melody); sister Jennifer Farris (husband Eric); and husband James, Sheri will be sorely missed.

Sheri graduated from Cedarville University and taught at Chester Elementary School. Later, she completed a Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology at UNH while pregnant with her first son. She could be seen pushing her toddler daughter around campus in a stroller and demonstrated her dedication to her lifelong love of education by taking one of her finals while in the early stages of labor!

For many years she volunteered at CareNet Crisis Pregnancy Center in Manchester where she received awards and accolades but was never too important to scrub toilets. Sheri was quickly recognized as a terrific communicator with a big heart within a community dedicated to the unborn children of New Hampshire. Her commitment to the families of CareNet went far beyond birth, as she often stepped in to babysit as mothers went back to work.

Passionate about service and community in the church, Sheri sang on worship teams, helped produce plays, provided staging and backdrops she painted with artistic talent and eye for detail, and taught Sunday school.

Sheri loved to travel. Her year-long trip to Sweden to connect to her family roots was a highlight, as were the many medical and dental mission trips to Guatamala and Honduras that she took with her parents and siblings.

Her children were the greatest pride and pleasure of Sheri’s life. She was incredibly proud of her daughter Sarah’s academic achievements, and she never missed her son Adam’s basketball games. Family road trips-often without planning-were her specialty and she was always willing to stop for any roadside attraction, no matter how silly. When her eldest daughter, Rebekah, was in labor, she drove 24 hours in the middle of a pandemic to help bring her grandson into the world.

Diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and given an initial prognosis of six months, her long survival thereafter helped inform her Boston-based team of oncologists about believing in both medicine and the power of her Lord. Always known for ready, personal prayers offered to anyone in need, she impacted many lives through her unending faith. She maintained her hope, gratitude, and (occasionally off-color) humor to the end of her life.

Opinionated, tenacious, and an advocate for justice, Sheri fought untiringly for the vulnerable with all the power of her personal convictions and her towering faith. “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7

One of Sheri’s greatest honors was her years-long relationship with a child, and later an entire family, in Guatamala. That family is forever changed because of her generosity. In lieu of flowers, please join her in sending donations to amginternational.org.
