FERNAND J. ROULEAU

Fernand J. “Shorty” Rouleau, 76, of Hooksett, died November 20, 2001, at the Elliot Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, September 22, 1925, he was the son of Gideon and Anne (Vallee) Rouleau. A Manchester resident most of his life, he lived the past 10 years in Hooksett.

For the past 30 years he worked as a roofer for Skyline Roofing Co.

Mr. Rouleau served in the Navy during World War II.

He was a member of the British American Club.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mariann Rouleau.

Family members include 2 daughters, Cheryl Rouleau of Hooksett, and Beverly Thibeault of Quebec, Canada; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Bertrand Rouleau of Manchester; 2 sisters, Claire Descheneau and Doris Plourde, both of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were November 23, 2001 at the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated November 24, 2001 in St. Pius X Church.

After cremation, burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
