Kevin “KP” Pierce, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, MA. while being visited by many friends and family members. He was born May 8, 1957 in Worcester a son of the late Leo and Arline (Corydon) Pierce. Growing up in Shrewsbury, he lived a very active life full of sports and outdoor activities, which he loved. From his small neighborhood, he bonded with many friends who stayed close with his entire life.
He worked many years in the car business, and made many friendships and connections. In his last years, he worked as a bill reduction specialist, and enjoyed trying to save people money on their bills. He was quickly recognized for his over-achieving work ethic and was loved by his colleagues. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, which touched the hearts of everyone he met. Kevin had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable, from all walks of life. He was truly a unique man, and had a very generous and sympathetic heart.
Kevin leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives, including his siblings; His sister Kathy; a brother Brian; his brother Paul; and his son Devin.
Kevin loved being a father. He was known to praise his son often, and cherishing golfing, kayaking and spending time with Devin. He enjoyed cooking for his son and going out for breakfast with him.
Kevin was also an integral part of his church congregation, the East Brookfield Baptist Church. He spent many years singing in the choir, and the annual cantata. He was a beloved member of the church, and donated much of his time to help with events. Kevin was truly a man who could make anyone smile and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Calling Hours for Kevin will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., in Charlton
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10 am in the East Brookfield Baptist Church, 262 E. Main St., East Brookfield, burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Boylston at a later date.
