Brenda Soles Griffin, 61, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday April 3, 2021, at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Eastside Holiness Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Rob Merritt, the Rev. Greg Carroll and the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Griffin was born December 16, 1959, in Coffee County, Georgia, to Betty Jean McKinnon Soles & the late Rev. Herman Soles. She was a 1978 graduate of Berrien County High School. Mrs. Griffin was a seamstress and was a former supervisor for H.R. Kaminsky & Sons, Inc. She owned and operated Brenda Griffin’s Daycare. She always put others first and was a generous caregiver. Mrs. Griffin’s home was always open for anyone to visit or enjoy a meal. She was a member of Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lamonte Griffin of Fitzgerald; children: Amanda Griffin, Jessica Griffin and Joshua Griffin, all of Fitzgerald; her mother, Betty Jean McKinnon Soles of Willacoochee; all of Mrs. Brenda & Mema’s babies; brothers: Gregory Herman Soles & Lisa of Pearson and Derick Soles & Amanda of Warner Robins and nine nieces and nephews: Matthew Soles, Alandra Soles, Emilee Soles, Aleigha Soles, Daiden Soles, Kylan Soles, Grayson Soles, Brista Soles and Aulden Soles. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a niece, Hannah Soles.
