Daniels, Mildred Eileen (Zardeskas) of Quincy, MA passed peacefully at Marian Manor in South Boston on April 1, 2021. Mrs. Daniels was the widow of WW2 and Korean War Veteran Sylvester J. ("Jack") Daniels and is survived by her two sons, Ronald (and his wife Laurie) and Richard (and his wife Mary) and four granddaughters: Kaitlyn Daniels, Meghan Daniels, Michelle Daniels and Christina (Daniels) Norton, and two great grandchildren, Annabelle and Tucker Norton. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonora and Anthony Zardeskas and her siblings: Alfred, Anthony and Eleanora.
Mildred received the Sacraments of the Catholic Church at Saint Peter's Lithuanian Church, and continued to be an active parishioner as her health permitted. On Wednesday, April 7th, after a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's (in South Boston) at 11:00AM, she will be brought to her final resting place with her late husband at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. There will be a brief viewing at 9:30-10:30AM at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St., South Boston. Mildred's family cannot adequately express their appreciation for the love and care she received from the nuns and lay staff while at Marian Manor.
