FRENI, Anthony 83, of the North End, Boston, passed away of natural causes on Friday, March 26, 2021. Son of Joseph and Mary (Berlinghieri) Freni. Beloved husband of the late Anne (O'Donnell) Freni and loving brother to Mary (Freni) LaRussa. Beloved Uncle to Nicholas LaRussa of South Boston, Joseph J. LaRussa and his wife Barbara of Lynnfield, and Francis LaRussa Jr. of Stoneham. Loving granduncle of James, Robert, and Joseph F. LaRussa. Anthony emigrated from Itala, a small town in Sicily at age 10. He enjoyed boxing, working out at the gym and worked as a machinist. He also enjoyed family gatherings for the holidays and the meals that came with them. He attended Sunday Mass regularly until he was unable to walk.
Funeral from Casper Funeral Services, 187 Dorchester Street BOSTON on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 9:00AM- 10:00A.M, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Brigid Church (Live Streamed), 841 Broadway at 10:30AM. Entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett MA.
