Elizabeth A. “Liz” (McAveeney) McCaffrey of Malden passed away on Monday, March 29th. She was 62. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Corinne (Scutellaro) McAveeney.
Liz loved spending time with her children. She was involved in all aspects of their life. Liz was the rock that held their family together. When Liz’s children were younger she enjoyed coaching their soccer team and later became the president of Malden’s Soccer League.
Elizabeth was the loving companion of 26 years to Domenic Ricci. She was the devoted mother of Corinne, Edward and Daniel McCaffrey. She was the dedicated Nana of Michael, Nathan, Bobby and Christian. She was the dear sister of John, James, Tom and Maggie, and the caring cousin of Michael and Xena.
