Marcia (Rhodes) Pettine, 85, of Little Compton, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, March 19, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the wife of Felix Pettine.
Mrs. Pettine was born in Taunton, daughter of the late Stephen and Madeline (Story) Rhodes and had resided in Little Compton for most of her life. She was a graduate of Simmons College. Prior to her retirement, she worked at the former Bell Co. and also taught at B.C.C., Fall River for a few years. She was a member of the Little Compton United Congregational Church.
Survivors along with her husband include her 2 sons: Stephen R. Pettine of Fall River and David W. Pettine and his wife Kelly of Taunton; her 2 daughters: Lynne R. Pettine of FL and Susanne M. Smith and her husband James of Westport; her sister: Susanne Waisner and her husband Jim of Holgate, OH; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Shawna, Christin, Allie and Maggie; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
