Mr. Ernst Mendes of Roslindale passed away on March 23, 2021. Ernst "Big George" Mendes was born in Port - au - Prince, Haiti in 1958 to loving parents Carilia and Rene Mendes. He transitioned from life on earth to his everlasting home with the Lord on March 23, 2021. He was 62 years young.
He was humorous and happy man who made you laugh. He always entered a room with a positive attitude. Ernst took his fitness seriously, especially lifting weights. He always wore a tank top during the summer to show off his muscles. Ernst was a simple man. He was easily pleased with any kind of gestures. Ernst was a man of few words and did not like to be the center of attention. Ernst never hesitated to assist someone in need of help. He was a family man and you could always count on him being there to celebrate important milestones and other family events. Ernst was able to put a smile on your face through his witty comments and nickname he gave you.
Ernst leaves behind his siblings: Jean Robert,Mirelle, Frantz, and Joelle Mendes. His countless nieces and nephews, his extended family, the Myrthil's and many more. May his soul Rest In Piece now that he has joined his late parents,brothers and sister: Rene, Carilia, Maxo, Raymond, Marie Marthe, and Joseph Mendes. We will always carry on your memory in our hearts.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday April 9, 2021 from 6-8 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home located at 814 American Legion Highway Roslindale, Ma.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale on Saturday April 10, 2021.
