Obituary

Paul J. Flaherty Sr. “Flabo” of Easton, formerly of Norwood passed away March 24th. Born in Boston, he attended Boston English High School and Fisher Jr. College and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years in the Shoe Industry as a Buyer and Salesman before retiring. He has lived in Easton for the last ten years and previously lived in Norwood for 30 years. He was a member of The St. Kevin’s Emerald Knights Drum and Bugle Corp, the Lieutenant Norman Prince Chorus, the Knights of Columbus Council in Easton, the American Legion, and the VFW. For the last 10 years, Paul enjoyed being a recess aide and driving “his kids” on the Special Education van for Easton Public Schools.
Beloved husband of the late Sheila Theresa Flaherty (Kennedy). Loving father of Paul J. Flaherty Jr. and his wife Eileen, and Lee Anne Hustins and her husband Richard, all of Easton. Grandfather of Thomas Hustins, Kate, Emily, Sean, and Deanna Flaherty. Brother of the late Geraldine McCabe, Thomas Flaherty, and Ann Healy. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St. So. Easton, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment. Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
