NAPLES- James “Jimbo” Edward Murt II, age 34, passed away at his home on March 21, 2021.
He was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 17, 1987, a son of the late James & Cynthia (Skillens) Murt. He attended Lincoln Park schools in Michigan until moving to Buxton, Maine where he received his GED.
Jimbo loved his family, friends and his dogs very much. He is survived by his sister, and brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins. He enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered by his love for family, friends and his dogs. He had a contagious giving heart and the ability to make people laugh and smile.
Public visitation will be held on Friday April 9 from 12 - 1 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. A private service for his family will follow at the funeral home at 1 PM due to COVID capacity restrictions. Please be mindful of all COVID restrictions and mask wearing both inside and outside the funeral home.
