
James R. Pare’, 74, of Derry, NH passed away Monday March 22, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He was born September 29, 1946 in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Andrew J. and Eva (LaShonde) Pare’. James was raised in the Methuen, MA. He was a 1965 graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen, MA.
Mr. Pare’ owned and operated his own residential construction company for 42 years. After retirement he worked at Market Basket in Londonderry, NH for several years. James was a volunteer firefighter in Ayer’s Village for 28 years and a dedicated volunteer for the Brain Injury Association of NH, for many years.
Members of the family include his son, Michael A. Pare’, his granddaughter, Alexandria Pare’, a sister Patricia Mann as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend Ron and family, Butch and Carol Russell of FL. James was predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 years, Cheryl J. (Waring) Pare’ in 2015.
Following cremation, private memorial services will be held by the family and invited guests. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact and maintain social distancing.
