WORCESTER___Julian Sabuk, 98, of Worcester, died on Wednesday March 22nd in his home.
He is survived by his wife, Jadwiga (Zalewski) Sabuk and a daughter, Alina Sabuk of New York, New York. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. He was born in Poland, son of Mathew and Aniela (Ambrozuk) Sabuk and lived in Worcester since 1960.
Mr. Sabuk attended schools in Poland and later worked for many years at the Standard Foundry in Worcester before retiring. He enjoyed being a handyman and taking care of his home.
The funeral will held on Saturday, March 25, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Saturday March 25 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Craft St. Suite 458, Newton, MA, 02458-1275.
