
James Lamar Page, Sr., 66, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, formerly of Tifton, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Hospice House of Pittsboro, North Carolina. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Page at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Ronny Vice will officiate.
Born August 21, 1954 in Tifton, Mr. Page was the son of the late Marvin Page and Lizzie Mae Griner Page. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Davy Page and one sister, Cordia Ann Bowen. Before retiring, he worked as an auto mechanic and owned Page Auto. He loved his family, cars and fishing.
Mr. Page is survived by his wife, Mara Simmons Page of Pittsboro, North Carolina; two sons, James Lamar Page, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Devyn Page (Jasmine) of Smyrna; two daughters, Elizabeth Shepley (Peter) of Lewes, Delaware and Robin Page (Melissa Weeks) of Pittsboro, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Savannah Page, Dakota Page, Travis Page, Morgan Delaney, Gabby Delaney, Piper Shepley, Linus Shepley, Jacob Page and Drew Massey; one great-grandchild, Jayden; a nephew, Davy Page of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and a niece, Anna Page of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
