Carol A. (Bentham) (Middleton) Griffiths
GILFORD, NH Carol A. (Bentham) (Middleton) Griffiths, 88 of Gilford, NH passed away on March 19, 2021. She was the widow of the late Joseph P. Griffiths who passed away in 2002 after 32 years of marriage.
She was born on March 17, 1933 in Winthrop, MA and was a daughter of the late Robert James Bentham and the late Hazel (Hanson) Bentham. She was raised in the Lynn area, where she attended school, graduating from Lynn English High School with the class of 1951.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Middleton) Sands and her husband, Robert Sands; her step daughter, Linda (Griffiths) Balcom and her husband Roy; her grandchildren, William Lipp , Dawn (Lipp) Vosburg and her partner Bill Britton, Eric Sands, Tiffany Sands and her fiancé Chad Ferreira, Alan Balcom and his wife, Katie, and Ryan Balcom and his wife, Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Carter, Paige, Paxton, Ellie, and Jack. She is also survived by her sister, Norma Wolfe and her husband John; and her brother, Robert Bentham and his wife, Aline; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
On Wednesday, her private funeral service will be held with her family at 12:30 p.m. at Tewksbury Cemetery.
