PORTER - Norma E. Ward, 83, died on Thursday March 18th, 2021 at her home with her four children by her side. She was born on June 29th, 1937 in Parsonsfield, ME, the wife of the late Myron O. Ward and the daughter of the late William Hartford and the late Harriet Stanley.Norma was a house wife for a time but later worked at the Kezar Falls Woolen Mill for several years. She was a dedicated member of The Jehovah's Witnesses and she loved to attend her meetings at the Kingdom Hall. Later when the Kingdom Hall had to close due to the Covid Quarantine she learned to use the computer for the first time so she could attend her meetings through Zoom from the comfort of her home. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crochet, word puzzles while watching her favorite shows 'Little House on the Prairie' and 'The Walton’s' every day. Norma leaves behind her three siblings Gloria Perry and her husband Robert Perry from Parsonsfield, Maine, Rex Hartford and his wife Bessie Hartford from Casper, Wyoming and Glen Hartford and his wife Patricia Hartford from Battle Mountain, Nevada. She also leaves behind her four children Joanne Hartford from Parsonsfield, ME Elwin Sanborn JR and his wife Debbie Sanborn from Hiram, ME, Lisa Edgerly from Porter, ME and Brenda Levasseur from Parsonsfield, ME. She also leaves her Nine grandchildren Brandi Libby, Anthony Ward, Lauren Edgerly, Nate Edgerly, Ryan Levasseur, Ariel Rand, Melissa Sanborn, Jessica Owens and Jennifer Owens. She also leaves Fifteen great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
