Dr. Mahmoud Bayat, PhD (Pharmacy) Former Head of Audit Services in The Office of Inspector General, Ministry of Labor in Tehran, Iran and resident of South Natick, passed away on March 19, 2021, surrounded by his adoring family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Dr. Bahi Sheikhinejad, his daughter Kathy Bayat, son Dr. Hossein Bayat and his wife Dr. Leila Zamani, and his grandchildren Aria Nikolas Khatib-Shahidi, Ariana Bayat and Aram Bayat.
He will be remembered as a kind, generous and chivalrous gentleman with a passion for theology and philosophy. He is cherished and loved by his family and friends and will be missed deeply.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 148 Brook St. Wellesley, on Sunday, March 21st, at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Alzheimer's Association in Dr. Bayat’s name.
