Robert Grondines 73, formerly of Joseph Early Village in Blackstone, MA died Wednesday in the University of Massachusett’s Medical Center in Worcester. He was the son of the late Robert and Alice (Martin) Grondines. Mr. Grondines was a carpenter for Webster Woodworking Co. for fifteen years before retiring in 1983. He had also worked for Alternatives Unlimited in Whitensville for ten years.
Mr. Grondines is survived by a brother Normand Desrosiers of Woonsocket and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Lillian Simpson.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Paul’s Church, St. Paul’s St. in Blackstone. Burial will be held in St. Paul's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 pm
