Cindy Lee (Cade) Jefferson, 62, of Anderson went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 16, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born July 17, 1958, in Anderson, the daughter of David and Carol (French) Cade. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Cindy graduated from Highland High School in 1976.
Cindy worked for Boyce Systems. She was also a supervisor at USA Group/Sallie Mae for 25 years. She loved her gardening, her grand dogs, and sharing her beautiful heart with her family and friends. If Cindy did not win you over with her heart, she was sure to do so with her peanut butter cake!
Cindy is survived by her husband, DeWayne Jefferson. They met in 1971 at Lost Lake and later married on November 8, 1975. They had one son, Lucus (Amber) Jefferson of Alexandria and two grandchildren, Gage (Haleigh) Jefferson and Addison Jefferson. She was the best Mimi ever! She is also survived by her mother, Carol (French) Cade; two sisters, Robin (Larry) Hamilton of Goshen, Shari (Danny) Dickens of Yorktown; four nieces, Emily, Rachel, Lacy and Kayla and their children. Cindy is also survived by special friends, Paula and Rick Schwarze, Amber Myers, former pastor, Guy Pfanz, and many other special friends she held close to her heart.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, David Cade.
A memorial service will be held at Glad Tidings Assembly of God with Pastor Matthew Boldizsar officiating on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m.
