Henry Raymond LaBonte (97) of Brockton died March 17th in the Brockton VA Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Lillian M. (Sansoucie) LaBonte.
He was born in Brockton son of the late Archille LaBonte and Ida (Gagne) LaBonte. Henry was a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Henry was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy during the Pacific Conflict and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. He was a long time member of the Club National, VFW Post 1046 and enjoyed golfing at DW Golf Course and playing shuffleboard.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his 2 daughters, Irene F. Patak and husband William of Walpole and Cheryl Davis and husband Michael of Hanson, (brother of the late Rita Call, Jeannette Parker, Constance Desgrosselliers, Alfred, Rudolph, Roland, Hervey, Rene LaBonte), 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday March 22nd at 11 am with Rev. Tom Iddings officiating. Burial to follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation from 10 am prior to services.
