Elaine Walls, 67, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner and the Rev. Christopher Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Walls was born March 19, 1953, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Grover Cleveland & Mary Frances Rineair McCook. She was a Bail Bondsman for B & B Bail Bonds. She had a special relationship with her “Bondees” and cared deeply about their well-being. She formerly worked for Colony City Finance and was also the Jail Administrator for the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office. She dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her children: Tracy Walls Johns & Michael of Rebecca and Jessica Walls of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren: Todd, Aaron & Ashley, James, Sebastian, Jayce and Aiden; her “almost” child, Rob Cox, II & Kara of Fitzgerald; and five sisters: Cristie King & Jerry of St. Augustine, Florida, Jackie Corbin & Jackie of St. Augustine, Florida, Jill Perkins of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Stacey Amun of St. Augustine, Florida, and Tina Harrell of Douglas. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raughley Giles “Lee” Walls, III; and two sisters: Debbie Roberts and Mary Ellen McCook.
