William A. Gosselin, age 73, was called safely home on March 13, 2021. He was born on Feb. 17, 1948 in Springfield, a son of the late George and Beryl Louise (Hervieux) Gosselin. William was a graduate of Springfield Trade High School. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked as a hydraulics technician for the Hasbro Company for 38 years before he retired in 2005. He was an active member of the Italian American Citizens Club, The American Legion Post 420, Ludlow Elks, Chicopee Eagles, Chicopee Moose Family Lodge, Knights of Columbus in East Longmeadow and the Polish Americans Club in Agawam. Although he had many passions, his main love was his 87 Soft tail custom Harley and his cat Maggie. He is survived by his loving wife Judith (Saville) Gosselin of Springfield; one son, Anthony Gosselin and his wife Heather of Hartford, CT; one daughter Marie Stromwall and her husband Steve of Springfield; one brother George Gosselin and his wife Kay of Springfield; three sisters, Lois Mascaro of Springfield, Lila Johnson and her husband Robert of Springfield and Zella Bailey of Springfield along with several grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings Robert and Norman Gosselin and Grace Worboy, Beryl Matthews and Janice Biancucci. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Funeral will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by an in house Prayer Service at 10:00 with burial and military honors to follow in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
