EAST BROOKFIELD: Jeanne C. (Gaudette) LeBeau,89, of E.Brookfield, died Saturday, March 13 in UMASS Medical Center due to complications with Covid-19.
She was the wife of Raoul J. "Doc" LeBeau, Jr. who died in 1999. She leaves her sons Robert L. LeBeau and his wife Elizabeth of Hanson, MA and Dennis P. LeBeau of E.Brookfield, her 6 grandchildren; Paul, Thomas, Michelle, Renee, Nadine and Robert LeBeau and a great grandson Kobe Travares. She is predeceased by her sister M.Pauline Smith.
Jeanne was a clerk for 23 years for the E.Brookfield, Brookfield and No. Brookfield Post Offices, retiring in 1992. She previously worked as a medical secretary for several area doctor's offices.
She was born in E.Brookfield, the daughter of Frank E. and Cecile L. (Courville) Gaudette and graduated from David Prouty High School, Class of 1949. She later graduated from the Worcester School of Business Science.
Jeanne was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, and the Lashaway Senior Citizen Club.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20th. at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON fUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, E.Brookfield. A calling hour will precede the services on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. with Covid 19 precautions, social distancing and face masks.
