Obituary

Aaron James Paull of Berkley, MA passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was 42 years old.

The youngest of his siblings, Aaron was born in July of 1978 in Taunton, MA, where he lived through his teen years. He graduated from Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational High School in 1996, where he majored in carpentry.

Born with multiple heart defects, Aaron needed several serious medical procedures during his life. However, this never kept him down. Rather, he was known by his friends to be a happy person, always trying to make other people smile. He is remembered fondly for his deep conversation and his proactive, caring nature.

Aaron worked for more than a dozen years at TCI Engineers of Marion, MA. He assisted in the design of operating rooms; some of these were in the very hospitals that treated him.

Aaron was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He chose to dedicate himself to God in baptism, when he was 14 years old, on March 27, 1993. The decisions he made for himself demonstrated confidence in the Holy Bible’s promises for a resurrection, should he lose his life. (John 5:28, 29 - “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”) Jehovah, his God, was a lifelong friend.

Aaron loved sports. He was a big fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, his parents’ home team: Boise State, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Despite his health limitations, he enjoyed pickup games of basketball, softball, baseball, and football, as well as occasional rounds of golf, with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Barbara Paull, of Nampa, ID, as well as his siblings, Dawn Lynn Standing of Berkley, MA, David and Joel Paull, both of Taunton, MA, and two nieces and three nephews.

A virtual service was on held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 3:30 PM. Over 325 were in attendance via zoom conference; he was well-loved.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Jehovah's Witnesses and Boston Children's Hospital.
