Obituary

Colleen A. Coyne-Killeen, 58, of Austin Avenue, Greenville, passed away Tuesday March 9th surrounded by her family in her home and her beloved puppy Guinness. She was the wife of William J. Killeen. They had been married for 38 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of John P. Coyne of Glocester and the late Joanna M. “Nancy” (Murphy) Coyne. She lived in Smithfield for 38 years previously living in Glocester.
Colleen retired after working for many years at Twin River. She loved kayaking, pottery, music and cooking. She was a gifted artist and was known as Momma Coll to many, a second mother to all that needed a mother’s nurturing. She was an active member of the Greenville Baptist Church.
Besides her husband she leaves her children, Erin Killeen (Jamie) Chaffee of Smithfield, Caleb (Joanna) Killeen of Smithfield, Jessie (Donna) Killeen of Burrillville, siblings, Kathleen (Mark) Coyne-McCoy of Scituate, Patricia (Jay) Coyne-Fague of Glocester, Brendan (Jenn) Coyne of Glocester and Terence (Diane) Coyne of Glocester. She was the grandmother of Jack Killeen, Brandon and Matthew Sylvester all of Burrillville and she is Nana to Ricky Jennings. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Betty Killeen. She was the sister of the late Jamie Coyne.
A private funeral was held. A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Make A Wish, 20 Hemingway Drive, East Providence, RI 02915 Make A Wish
