FALL RIVER… Robert A. Zygiel, Sr., 84, of Fall River passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2021 at Country Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Swansea, MA.
He was the loving husband of the late Anne F. (Hardy) Zygiel to whom he had been married for 50 years prior to her passing in 2019.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edward and Dora (Gaucher) Zygiel.
Mr. Zygiel was a veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Fox and the United States Air Force in Greenland. For over 28 years, he had worked as a Data Processor for Bank of Boston until it was acquired by Fleet Bank in 1997.
Survivors include his son: Robert A. Zygiel, Jr. of Peabody; his daughter: Terri Ann Kearney of Everett; his sister: Ruth McLeod of New York; a niece and a nephew. He was the brother of the late David J. Zygiel.
