Candace “Candy” Joy Faraday of Redlands, CA passed away on February 20, 2021. Candy was born on January 6, 1950 and raised in Weymouth. In her late teens, she moved to California, living in Haight-Ashbury during the famed “Summer of Love” and then lived off of the land in Ukiah. She was also a proud member of the Bo Sox Club for 30 years and held Red Sox season tickets for 22 years. She absolutely loved to bring her family to the games at Fenway Park. Her love of the game brought her to travel to many minor and major league ball parks with her son. Candy also achieved the ultimate fan’s goal of attending a game at every major league ballpark across the country.

Candy was predeceased by her parents Donald and Jean (Brzycki) Yourell and her sister Carol King. She was the loving mother to David Emrick and his wife Connie of California, and adoring grandmother of Grace Emrick. Candy was the beloved sister of Donna Dolan (Yourell) and her late husband James of Abington.
