New Bedford – Donald Roderick, Sr, age 72, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Donald was born in New Bedford, MA to the late William Roderick and Alice (Lima) Roderick. He had been an antique dealer for New Bedford Antiques and had also been a bartender at the Belmont Club back in the 70’s. Donald loved to listen to and watch baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He also loved to ride his bicycle, loved gardening and was an avid collector of baseball cards.
Donald is survived by his siblings, Paul Lima, Andrea Braga, Mark Roderick and William Roderick; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews.
A memorial service for Donald will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. with his cremains.
All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to social distance 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact.
