Obituary

BELMONT-----Brandon Stewart 'Bud' Dunn, 39, passed away suddenly at his home, on Saturday, February 27, 2021.

Brandon was born in Laconia, on April 23, 1981, the son of Calvin Jr. and Tammy (Bean) Dunn. He attended LHS and earned his GED in 2002.

After high school, he decided to carry on the family tradition and got involved in the asphalt industry which led to him starting his own business, Gold Star Seal Coating, in 2006. He continued to also work for his Uncle Dan's company, Asphaltics Paving, for 17 years, and would also drop his own things to help his brother Cal with Dunn's Asphalt Paving. Brandon carried on the Dunn/Bean work ethic.

Bud enjoyed spending time with family and friends; camping, hiking, golfing, snowmobiling, word searches, scratch tickets, and playing bass guitar. He worked hard to provide the best he could for his three children. To Brandon, family was everything. Even in adulthood he spent most of his evenings with his parents. He loved his mom's home-cooked meals and numerous hobbies with his dad.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Calvin "Red" and Anita O. Dunn, along with many family members.

He is survived by his parents Calvin Jr. and Tammy (Bean) Dunn; his children, Ashlynn Ida Marie, Connor Calvin and their mother Melissa, and Levi Leelan and his mother Michelle and her children Shayne and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Calvin Dunn III and his fiance Sue Turcotte, Amy Ballou and her husband Dan, Laura Dunn and her partner Ryan Ashton, and their families; his maternal grandparents, Harry and Thelma Bean; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sadly, as many know, Brandon fought with depression for years, and drug/alcohol addiction. Brandon grew tired and chose to end his long battle. If you or anyone you know struggles with depression or addiction, please know there is help available and you don't have to do it alone.
