Obituary

Moultonborough----Ann Marie Cullen, 80, of Melanson Point died on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Ann was born on June 4, 1940, in Pittsfield, MA, the daughter of Clayton and Anna (Kowchuk) Marsh, where she met her future husband just 16 years later.

Early on Ann worked for the welfare department in the town of Pittsfield, MA for several years before pursuing her true calling as the matriarch of her beautiful family. Ann lovingly raised her three children, never missing a moment to volunteer. She was always her family's biggest cheerleader in everything they did. That dedication only grew as her family has swelled to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To Ann, family was everything, and it showed.
Ann, and her husband Gerard (Jerry), retired young building their dream house on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, enjoyed spending time with family and friends there over the last 30 years. Despite traveling the world, the lake has always been her favorite place.

Besides family, Ann and Jerry, shared a passion for travel. Having been all over the US, much of South America, China, Europe, Southeast Asia, Russia, and many other faraway lands. If she wasn’t reading a mystery book, you can bet she was reading up on her next adventure.

Ann was a Communicant at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Meredith, NH.

Ann is survived by her husband, Gerard Cullen; her daughter, Cheryl Curran and her husband, John; her son, Gregory Cullen and his wife, Michelle; son-in-law John Ellery and his wife, Amanda; her grandchildren, Caitlin Hyatt and her husband, Chris; Candace Robinson and her husband, LeRand; Ashley Curran, Shane Curran, Kaylee Cullen, Brianna Cullen, Emily Hensley and Eric Nash; and her great-grandchildren, Henry, Jasper, Koa and Tymber.
