Priscilla C. (Marsch) Devine, 81, of Dennis passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the South Dennis Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of James A. Devine for the past 60 years.
Born in Taunton on March 4, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Duley) Marsch.
Priscilla was a resident of Dennis since 1996 and formerly resided in Norton for 27 years. She grew up in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School in 1958.
Before her retirement, she worked at the Mansfield Cooperative Bank in Norton for many years retiring as the branch manager.
Priscilla was artistic and creative and had an eye for design. She loved gardening and was a member of the East Dennis Garden Club. She was also an active member of the Dennis/Yarmouth Newcomers Club where she served as a membership chairperson for several years. Priscilla also enjoyed her time, along with her husband, as a member of the church choir at Our Lady of the Cape Church in Brewster.
In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by three children, Deborah Devine of Belmont, Craig Devine and his wife Rita of Plain City, Ohio and Lisa Irving and her husband Bob of Plainville and her five grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth and Autumn Devine and Zachary and Julia Irving.
Priscilla was predeceased by her siblings, Sally Bacon, Mildred Tripp, Betty Proulx, Charles Marsch, Jr., and James Marsch and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Road in Brewster. Please follow all required Covid-19 guidelines including face coverings and social distancing.
