Ardys Mae (Dahling) Limbert 10/11/1937 – 02/18/2021, was born on the family homestead in Hay Creek township, Minnesota to Edward and Edna (Schultz) Dahling. She was married to Gerald H. Limbert on 11/19/55 until his death on 1/10/2020. They lived in Bloomington for 30 years, then moved to Woodbury to be near her daughter, Lori, then to retirement living in St. Paul. She is survived by Nancy and Paul Connolly of Red Wing, MN, Lori Engesser of Woodbury, MN, and Sheila and John Frey of Springfield, VA. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Dean and Joel Dahling. She was predeceased by her brother, Lyle. Ardie loved to sew, quilt, travel, and research her family tree. She was an avid gardener, and served at church in many capacities. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parkinson’s Association or Lutheran Church of Peace, Maplewood, MN.
