Naomi H. (Harris) Chavis, beloved wife of the late Will Chavis, a 35 year resident of Somerville, died at the Somerville Hospital on Friday, March 17, 2006. She was years old.
Mrs. Chavis was the loving mother of Harold J. and his wife Karn S. Harris of San Antonio, Texas. Cherished sister of Cynthia and Marion Harris of Medford, Eunice “May” Chisolm of Somerville and the late Wesley, Beatrice, Virginia, Eva and Elizabeth C. Harris. Devoted aunt of Keith, Kevin, Wayne and Wesley Harris III. Great aunt of Wesley IV and Scott Harris, Jonathan and Tyler Serota, Theodore Green, Kyle Betts, Marie Bowra, Nicole Green, Laurelle Serota, Lisa Govan, Bethany and Kaitlyn Serota, Tory Govan, Taylor Harris and Kendra and Samara Green.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Avenue, MEDFORD, Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
