Mrs. Theresa D. Bergeron Desharnais, 96, of Lawrence passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2021. The daughter of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Vincent) Bergeron she was born in Manchester, NH on January 9, 1925 and had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Desharnais was a homemaker and foster mom to over 130 babies for Catholic Charities. The widow of Roland S. Desharnais she was also pre-deceased by her sister Muriel Kelleher and brother Lionel Bergeron. Mrs. Desharnais is survived by one daughter: Michele and her husband Stephen McGovern of Mansfield, MA, one son Dennis Desharnais of Lawrence, MA, two grandchildren Christopher and Nicole and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations in Theresa’s memory can be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St, building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd, Dracut, MA.
