SOMERSET - Robert Rebello, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2021. For the past 37 years, he was the beloved husband of Mal Rebello (Marilyn Souza). Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late John and Leah (Pereira) Rebello. He was happiest spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, singing, playing poker, woodworking on projects for loved ones and reminiscing about his career as a surveyor, working on the Big Dig, coaching Little League and the places he had traveled. For many years, he has been an elected member of the Somerset Planning Board and was a long term member of the South Somerset Progressive Club.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children; Bridget Kaegael, Robert Rebello and his wife Shani, Tracey Cordeiro and her husband Jay; step-children Jodi Storch and Susan Arruda; his twin Ronald Rebello, and siblings John Rebello and Leah Spivey; grandchildren Alex, Elizabeth, Lauren, Benjamin, Abby, Tyler, Camren, Haley, Jack, and the late Dylan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas More Church at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Monday, Feb. 22nd from 4-7 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Fall River.
